Film Fall streams water down from a reservoir tank via a nozzle installed in the ceiling.

As the water drips down on the strings, it eventually flows into a reservoir at the bottom, and is pumped back up to the top - creating an unbroken circulation system.

The strings are made of 4mm-wide, 0.5mm-thick transparent acrylic. The acrylic is specialized with the water’s surface tension in mind to ensure the water consistently flows smoothly along.

By using this film, the waterfall maintains its form even from a 30m-high ceiling, minimizing splashes.
The film alignment can be customized into lines, circles, checkered patterns, and many more.

Keeping the water clean is paramount for Film Fall to function properly. If the water in the reservoir becomes too dirty, it may cause clogging in the nozzles or film.
