By combining Aqpane with mirrored surfaces, it is possible to create the illusion of an infinite waterfall extending across ceilings or vertical space.
Originally implemented in a clinic in Tokyo, this concept demonstrates how Aqpane can transform a simple water feature into a spatial experience.

Variations of Aqpane
Original Type
The Original Aqpane features fine-edge processing applied to the interior surfaces of the front and back acrylic panels, creating micro-grooves. The water clings to these micro-grooves, creating beautiful ripples that resemble fish scales. In addition, the edge processing effect helps to obscure the line of sight. Since the view beyond the panel becomes harder to see, it is suitable for installation against walls. In such cases, a black wall further enhances the ripple effect and maximizes the expression of the water’s movement.
Ideal Use Case:
Wall-mounted installations where privacy and texture are important.
Works well in corridors, spa zones, and feature walls with controlled lighting.
Glass-Green Type
A premium version of the Aqua Wall Panel that uses greenish, glass-colored acrylic for the panel material. This special material has the feel of glass despite being acrylic, making it suitable for spaces that value luxury and natural aesthetics. Like the Standard Type, it features edge processing on the inside of the tank, allowing the water flow to be clearly seen and highlighting the beauty of the ripples. By placing greenery around the panel, it is possible to create a more natural and healing atmosphere.

Luxury environments that value natural aesthetics — such as resorts, wellness spaces, and high-end lobbies.
Pairs well with greenery and organic materials.
Clear Type
A fully transparent Aqua Wall Panel that lets you enjoy the natural ripples of flowing water. It is also ideal as a see-through partition to showcase the space beyond. The water-drawn ripples gently blur the view beyond the panel, allowing for a moderate level of privacy while maintaining transparency. It is suitable for installation in locations that require spatial partitioning or division. Additionally, by placing greenery (such as a green wall) behind the panel and allowing the water to obscure the view, one can create a natural healing space evoking the essence of nature.
Ideal Use Case:
Spaces requiring transparency and light flow — such as partitions in offices, retail, or open-plan interiors. Maintains visibility while softly diffusing the background.
Black Type
The Black Type focuses solely on the water’s mesmerizing ripples. The front panel is made of our transparent acrylic, while the back panel is opaque black acrylic, concealing the view beyond. In conjunction with the internal lighting system, the black canvas fully isolates and highlights the water’s mesmerizing flow. The back black acrylic surface has uneven edge processing, yielding a unique texture expression as the water flows over the grooves. Simultaneously, water flows on the front clear acrylic surface. We now have TWO waterfalls, layered over one another, in one Aqpane.

Dark or controlled lighting environments where the movement of water should stand out.
Ideal for immersive spaces, galleries, and dramatic feature installations.
Pillar Type
The rounded shape of the Pillar Type allows for viewing from any angle. Similar to the Aqua Wall Panel, water flows down the "inside" of the cylindrical transparent acrylic. This unique style allows for a stunning column of water that can dominate a large space. By connecting multiple pillars vertically, it can be extended up to a height of 7 meters.
The LED light is set in the bottom and the top of the pole.
Ideal Use Case:
Large open spaces where a vertical focal element is needed. Suitable for atriums, event spaces, and installations requiring visibility from multiple angles.
